Brewing the Blossoms, A soothing Coffee Flower TEA Cocktail in the making.

IMG_6605.jpeg

A few days back, I was racking my head wondering what should be the next post on Hive. I have realised that a lot of you really like my post that is specifically on coffee although I find it much more easier to write about my regular life.

This is mostly because my regular life has become a very small part of me whereas my life at the farm has become really a huge one that I’ve been trying to cope up with. We just recently finished with the coffee harvesting so you can imagine how busy it’s been at the farm. 👩🏻‍🌾

Do you ever get up and grab your phone just to see what time is and get completely distracted by the notifications that you have got?

Well, the same thing happened to me last Thursday when I got a Instagram notification showing that a customer had made a cute little reel of one of my product.

The first thought that popped into my mind when I saw this reel was how aesthetically pleasing and on point he had made this 36 second reel. What Surprised me the most was, the great way he found to brew it into a coffee.

Can you guess what the secret ingredient is? 😉✨

This year we have a new stock of fresh blossoms that is ready to be ordered. Don’t forget to grab your pack.😉

With fusion of fine coffee is that is making the drink so much more complex than it already is.

Just look at how incredible they have formed separate layers, the rich orange is at the bottom of the glass and the coffee is so juicy found floating among the ice that’s on top of the glass.

Back in September we had a world coffee conference in India where I got to meet so many coffee enthusiasts and one of them was Ram Bishop, who is the customer who bought the coffee blossoms and made this reel.

He is a consultant for IT firm but is very passionate about photography and art and sometimes freelancing on food and products. It was during October that this particular product was getting a lot of limelight and that’s when he decided to order a 30 g pack of coffee blossoms from us.

We always suggest to a customers to turn it into a cocktail by just adding some ice and tempting Gin. 🍸 + 🧊

Like I told you, we encourage our customers to try various cocktail recipes with our products. Here is a creative customer who went ahead to blend the blossoms with a tropical twist of coconut liquor. 🌴☕️

Parmit Dabas, used to conduct a live stream on Instagram, along with his co-partner, Nitin Shivnani. Every Sunday at 1 PM these live episodes on Spilling Beans series used to drop. This collaborative series was going to be on Robusta, since it wasn’t a common species that was normally liked to bought by the global consumers. But this entirely falls on the fact that Robusta was always misunderstood as the bitter cousin.

They say “A lot can happen over coffee”.. And that’s exactly what happened in this coffee conversation.

This specific order was for Nidhi Jha, who is going to travel to India just for a few days. She managed to order four packets of 25 g of coffee blossoms. The idea she had was to give these blossoms to some of her friends.

In a months time, she had already tasted how lovely this product once, and she wrote elaborately on the taste and smell in something that she never assumed it would be like. So much so that she wanted to get a couple of people to visit us at the origin and get to meet us in person.

Somehow I noticed that people from India are passionate about their coffee. I met them a lot during my travels in coffee shop and they always the one that talks a lot. Some are nice, some a little more condescending. Those are awesome recipe, would love to try them.

Coffee Is Something Thats Really Competitive In India, Almost Everyone Thinks They Know Better Than The Other Here.

I agree, me being a coffee planter I have to often face roasters who pretend to know farms and how we need to look at them. We never tell them how to roast their coffees as it's a skill. And I expect the same from them. Thank you so much for reading and being a part of my little journey 👩🏻‍🌾💯

This Sr great recipe, thank you for sharing, I would love to try it out soon.

Yes! It's super soothing. Definitely worth trying 👩🏻‍🌾✨

Oh, it's so nice that your customers love your product and are motivated to pay a small tribute through the creation of an exotic cocktail. I love the idea; well, I drink my latte with coconut milk, but it never occurred to me to mix coffee --coffee blossom tea--and coconut liqueur in a cocktail. I'll have to try it 😁

Cheers! ☕️

Oh it is interesting. Not just coffee, but coffee blossom tea with ice and some intoxicating alcohol. 🍸

Yes, that! Haha. I fixed it.
