After the long walk through the jungle, we were safe in the hut, we were already making plans, but everything changed when the old man of the hut told us about the sacred coffee, everything seemed to be a fantasy story, but the fire in the fireplace became more intense, the lightning became more constant, it seemed that something wanted to scare us and prevent us from knowing that story.

The old man told us that many years ago the natives lived for 300 years and this was thanks to a fruit or seed that gave them life, he also said that these people were dedicated to protect the crops, those seeds were coffee, which gave more years of life to the people and besides that allowed them to survive by planting and harvesting coffee, as it was a means of business with natives of nearby lands.

The old man said that one day the leader of those lands decided to hide the seeds to protect them from the explorers, so they stopped cultivating and hid the seed of life forever. It is currently known as the sacred coffee and it is said that it is possible that it exists, since some people living in the jungle are more than 150 years old.

The truth is that no one has tasted that coffee again, no coffee currently resembles it, so we spent hours talking to the old man, until it was time to rest and when we woke up the old man was gone, but we found the wallet of the old man and had documents with his name that were from 1890, this left us with the doubt, since apparently that man could be one of those natives who have come to taste the sacred coffee.
