What’s better than coffee in the evening HOT CHOCOLATE!!

So Hivers The other day I was doing a bit of internet surfing for coffee beans and came across the Dualit “Cocoatiser” which is a hot milk frother and hot chocolate maker. Which does mean I can retire my Nespresso frother and clear a bit of space on the work top.

The big difference between the two seems to be the mixing paddles the Nespresso just has the small spring mixer while the Dualit has a 2 part plastic paddle and mixing basket.

I have had a few bags of Hotel Chocolate hot chocolate flakes for a since Christmas.

But it’s a faff making hot chocolate heating milk on the hob and mixing the stuff in till it all melts then I leave it too long on the heat and the chocolate boils over and it’s a messy cleanup. I did try using the Nespresso frother once but it wasn’t very successful and left a lot of chocolate flakes unmixed. So the Dualit seems like a good idea as it’s designed as a milk hot chocolate maker.

It’s nice and simple to use, Just add around 225ml of milk then one sachet of Hotel Chocolate flakes, press the on button and wait till it stops. A quick and easy perfect hot chocolate.

If your like me you’ll add a splash of rum too. To sweeten it up, well rum is made of sugar :).

So there you have Hive coffee fans a nice bedtime drink in the evening that wont keep you awake all night. May be I should get some mini marshmallows and a flake for the whole coffee shop experience what do you think?

How does chocolate taste with a splash of rum? 😅I'm curious.

Depends on how bigger splash, I only put about half a measure in and it gives it a little kick. They do go very well together.

@jane1289 By half measure, he means half rum, half hot chocolate. Please try it and post the results lol ;-)
