Para mí el sabor del café es algo incomparable, no sé ustedes pero en casa no acostumbramos a tomar café recalentado, somos del pensar que el café recalentado pierde sus propiedades y el sabor.
Leyendo una vez un artículo de prensa sobre el café, un experto en química expresaba que la cafeína es transformada en cafenol, cuando sometes al café al proceso de recalentamiento razón por la cual en algún momento podemos a través del gusto notar la diferencia en su sabor.
Como les he comentado en casa se ha colado entre nuestras costumbres el despertar por la mañana con el aroma de un buen café, incluso algunos de nuestros familiares no pueden empezar el día sin sentir su sabor.
Por ejemplo la Sra. Briseida tía de mi esposa todas las mañanas nos sorprende con una taza de café y lo curioso es que siempre anda tomándole fotos a esta exquisita bebida.
Algunas veces nos cuenta que tomar el café es favorable para estimular la concentración, quitar la pesadez y sueño, pero así como es bueno consumirlo su exceso puede producirnos ciertos problemas como alucinaciones o alterar algo en nuestro sistema nervioso.
Para muchos, el café es más que una bebida, un buen café puede iniciar grandes cosas como también finalizarlas, hay quienes lo ven como una forma de intimar, aquí en Sucre lugar donde resido cuando sales y te encuentras a alguien que hace algún tiempo no ves simplemente le dices: “Te invito a un café, así hablamos un rato”, pero también está el caso de quien emocionalmente no se siente bien y le invitan un café para conversar y tratar de solucionar o mejorar el ánimo.

He llegado a pensar que estas personas al sentir su aroma pueden rememorar recuerdos, amores, desamores, historias de soledad o compañía, risas, lágrimas, tristezas y alegrías.
“El café ha dejado de ser una simple bebida oscura que acompaña nuestras mañanas; se ha convertido en un íntimo compañero de vida”.
Como te das cuenta, el café no solo es bebida, sino inspiración e incluso, las mentes más grandes le rinden homenaje en sus trabajos y proyectos.
