An Afternoon of Hive and Coffee
As I write these lines in the city of Caracas, it is 5:00 p.m. and a few minutes past, through the window I can see a beautiful panoramic view of the capital and with it I admire the Christmas atmosphere, where clouds abound, afternoons turn gray, and little by little the cold begins to descend from the mountains, invading our entire body with a feeling of nostalgia and at the same time full of hope.

My afternoons are usually very similar. At this time, I find myself sitting in front of the computer trying to create interesting content within this ecosystem that I find wonderful. I have been sharing my experiences and anecdotes with you for years now, but the best part of all is when I have the opportunity to enjoy the magic of a good coffee with this community.

I took a break from work and set out to make myself a delicious black coffee, but this time I left the coffee maker technology aside and decided to immerse myself in tradition. so I took the sleeve and, with the help of my electric kettle, boiled about four cups of water, then strained it in the most traditional way so I could smell the aroma, feel the heat, and even taste this ground coffee, whose beans come from the town of Biscucuy, a place with a long coffee-growing tradition and known for its excellent quality and exquisite flavor.

I don't know why today has been particularly slow. It has been a day where I have been able to think about many things and where I have had the opportunity to plan a little bit about the projects and dreams I want to achieve for next year. Also, as I mentioned, I think the weather has been conducive to reflection and sentimentality.

But not everything in life can revolve around thoughts and dreams. It is necessary to have limits and return to reality, fill ourselves with courage, and continue moving forward in a life that is meant to be enjoyed. That's why when things get a little melancholy, it's good to reach for a cup of coffee, because it can reboot us in a second, reactivating our minds and helping us overcome any difficulty.

This time there were no cookies or bread, and I was feeling a little lazy about making something to go with this snack, but as I walked by, I noticed a small piece of candy on the living room table, which seemed to have been forgotten. In reality, it was just waiting for the perfect accompaniment. because it happened to be a coffee-based sweet, and that's how I found the perfect combination for my existential needs.

After drinking my cup of coffee and enjoying the typical flavors of the Venezuelan Andean foothills, I decided to return with much more enthusiasm to complete my routine, thus ending the day on a positive note and with great results, leaving behind the ghost of laziness and giving way to a creative, innovative, and deeply artistic spirit.

Ha, a coffee while doing some Hive really is the best, isn't it? I'm having one right now :) Even though I wouldn't use so much sugar in my coffee, I appreciate the detail of preparation in this.
