Hello guys! I'm Hanna and welcome all of you guys come back to my post 😊 Long time no see, because I just had a great vacation before starting a new job. As you know, when you have a job, you can hardly spend a lot of time traveling, So I decided to take a long road trip before I started looking for a new job. I have a friend, also my roommate, she just finished her graduation exam, during this time she is free, so she asked me to go on a trip away for a week, I thought for a while and then agreed with her. We planned and took note of the places we would go within a day. We plan to go to the provinces near Da Nang, such as Hue city, Quang Nam province. However, we had a 2 day 1 night Hue experience trip and I also wrote 2 articles about Hue before, so Hue is not our destination this time. Besides, Quang Nam is our hometown, we also explored a lot of places here during our childhood, so I think Quang Nam is not the best choice. We immediately think of a province quite close to Da Nang, that is Quang Ngai province, which is 132km north of Da Nang. Therefore, we chose Quang Ngai province as the destination of this trip. Before going, we consulted places to visit in Quang Ngai from a university friend who lives in Quang Ngai. We took the train from Da Nang to Quang Ngai, it took about 3 hours. Because the morning tickets sold out, we could only choose the trip at 4pm, we arrived around 7:30pm. We moved from the train station to the hostel, then we went to dinner at 8.20. After dinner, we walked around there, accidentally we saw a very old-fashioned coffee shop located along the lake, so we stopped in to enjoy coffee here. The shop is called Cafe Game -1985, but we don't see any game consoles here, only selling coffee. After entering the shop, I understood why the shop was called like that ^^
The shop has many areas to sit, including outside, inside and upstairs. On the outside, each table is decorated with oil lamps and a rose, looking extremely romantic and like going back to decades ago. Inside the shop, there are many items decorated on the walls, shelves and tables. Like I said, I know why the shop is named Cafe Game even though it doesn't have a game console because there are so many disc players, music players, and cassettes on display in so many places, they are considered as game console of people who like to listen to music. Currently, these machines are rarely used, they are replaced by more modern, compact music players, but they still hold a special irreplaceable value. I remember when I was about 6-7 years old, my dad bought a cassette player, and a lot of records, every day he plays different music, and he still keeps them to this day even though they don't longer works.
Besides, toys and old books are placed on the table, and lamps and paintings are hung on the walls.
Drink prices here are quite cheap, we ordered 2 cups of milk coffee for only 30,000VND. Although the price is quite cheap, the coffee is extremely delicious, it suits my taste very well. While drinking coffee, we chatted and made plans for the next day.
After about 30 minutes, it was getting dark, and we were tired from the long trip, so we walked back to the guesthouse. Before going back, I went upstairs to take a few last photos, the scene above is quite similar to the decoration below. Recently, young people like this classic style, so I think this is the owner's intention to attract them to drink coffee and check-in. From my opinion, I recommend if you have a chance to come to Quang Ngai, you should visit and try the coffee here.
