Hello dear @cinnccf community, I was longing to share some time with you and the time has come.
After walking for two hours to share some time away from home, clear my mind and buy two books, my daughter and I decided to pamper ourselves with a refreshing drink. With no fixed direction or time limit we arrived at the urbanization La Carlota, in the city of Caracas - Venezuela, which is characterized by its residential buildings from the 50's and most of them have commercial premises on the first floor. Many of them function as restaurants (mostly Italian), coffee shops, bakeries, among others.
In one of its transversals is a cafeteria called La Resolana / Café & Bodegón, where you can choose from a variety of desserts, coffees, merengadas, pizzas, wines, beers, rum service, whiskey service and even tequeños. Also on Fridays and Saturdays they offer live music in an outdoor space.
It is a small and very cozy place, with an industrial style where black, wood and metal prevail, by the way it is one of my favorite design styles, I love it. The espresso machines are in full view of everyone and we can appreciate the elaboration of the coffee, the aroma of the beans makes you feel that you are in the paradise of coffee. You can also buy your favorite products to take home because they have a small grocery store, where you will find gourmet coffee powder, instant coffee, cookies, cereals, sausages and more.
As we wanted a refreshing and delicious drink our choice was a meringue made with coffee, ice cream, strawberry and chocolate syrup and whipped cream, which comes with a small cookie, a house specialty.
The presentation was impeccable in a large clear glass cup.
The flavor is extremely charming, the coffee prevails, which is what we were looking for, in a perfect point, neither too strong nor too soft, a velvet texture. I would dare to say that it is one of the best cold coffee-based drinks I have ever tasted. The cookie is made by themselves and filled with chocolate.
This majesty has a cost of $5.00. The service was super good, they made us feel at home. They took the time to explain to us in detail everything they could offer us in terms of coffee. I would definitely come back to this place to continue tasting all the good things, I recommend it.
We said goodbye to the place and continued our walk home, it was certainly a day of profit, we walked, shared, bought two books, visited a nice shop and tasted a delicious coffee drink.
Many times unforeseen events are better than planned outings, you have to let yourself be carried away by the moment and enjoy what life gives us, sometimes alone and sometimes with the best company.

Después de caminar durante dos horas para compartir un rato fuera de casa, despejar la mente y comprar dos libros, mi hija y yo decidimos consentirnos con una bebida refrescante. Sin tener un rumbo fijo ni límite de tiempo llegamos a la urbanización La Carlota, en la ciudad de Caracas – Venezuela, la cual se caracteriza por sus edificios residenciales de los años 50 y la mayoría posee locales comerciales en la planta baja. Mucho de ellos funcionan como restaurantes (en su gran mayoría italianos), cafeterías, panaderías, entre otros.
En una de sus transversales se encuentra una cafetería llamada La Resolana / Café & Bodegón, donde puedes escoger variedad de postres, cafés, merengadas, pizzas, vinos, cervezas, servicio de ron, servicio de whisky y hasta tequeños. Además los viernes y sábado brindan música en vivo en un espacio al aire libre.
Es un lugar pequeño y muy acogedor, con estilo industrial donde prevalece el color negro, la madrea y el metal, por cierto es uno de mis estilos de diseño favorito, me encanta. Las máquinas de café expreso están a la vista de todos y podemos apreciar la elaboración del mismo, el aroma que desprenden los granos te hace sentir que estas en el paraíso del café.
Asimismo, puedes hacer las comprar de tus productos favoritos para llevar a tu hogar porque cuentan con un pequeño bodegón, allí encontrarás café gourmet en polvo, café instantáneo, galletas, cereales, embutidos y más.
Como queríamos una bebida refrescante y deliciosa nuestra elección fue una merengada a base de café, helado, sirop de fresa y chocolate y crema chantillí, la cual viene acompañada con una pequeña galleta, especialidad de la casa.
La presentación impecable en una copa grande de vidrio transparente.
El sabor sumamente encantador, prevalece el café que era lo que buscábamos, en un punto perfecto ni muy fuerte ni muy suave, una textura de terciopelo. Me atrevería a decir que una de las mejores bebidas frías a base de café que he probado. La galleta es elaborada por ellos mismos y rellena de chocolate.
Esta majestuosidad tiene un costo de $5,00. La atención súper buena, nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Se tomaron el tiempo para explicarnos con detenimiento todo lo que nos podían ofrecer a base de café. Sin duda volvería a este lugar para seguir degustando de todo lo bueno, lo recomiendo.
Nos despedimos del lugar y continuamos nuestra caminata a casa, sin duda fue un día de ganancia, caminamos, compartimos, compramos dos libros conocimos un lindo local comercial y probamos una deliciosa bebida a base de café.
Muchas veces los imprevistos resultan mejor que las salidas planificadas, hay que dejarse llevar por el momento y gozar lo que la vida nos regala, unas veces solos y otras con la mejor compañía.

By the way, from everything I read, what I liked the most was the way they treated you, that gives a lot of points to an establishment and makes you as a customer come back again.
Undoubtedly, attention is paramount in deciding whether or not to return to a commercial establishment, and if the products are good as in this case...I will certainly return.
