Certainly, I am someone who enjoys coffee and is returning to that habit. Quite some time ago, I would go out every week or at least once a month to a coffee shop to enjoy this delicious beverage, but time passed, things changed, routines became different, people drifted away, and I basically had to rebuild my life, almost from scratch. That doesn't bother me; we are always changing, and obviously, it's the cycle of life, but there are things I did miss, and this, without a doubt, was something I needed to bring back into my life.
Even though the places are the same, there are also small changes within them. The coffee shop you went to a lot of times won't always have the same people; the baristas change and so does the way they present the coffee. There are also new places and perhaps places that hadn't been visited, because obviously, despite living in a small town, I haven't been to every corner of it. And the truth is, even if it's a little repetitive for some people, for me it's not. I can enjoy a cappuccino, a mochaccino, or an iced coffee, over and over again. So that's exactly what I've been doing. I haven't been thinking too much about buying things, things like that, at the place. I just order whatever I feel like, even if it's the third time in a month that I order an affogato, literally.
And I say literally because that's what I did this time. I came to a new place called Panadería Virgen de Fátima, which is quite an interesting place because it's a bakery, but it's also a restaurant, it's like a nightclub, and it has a lot to offer. I had heard that the Affogato was delicious, that it was a large cup with ice cream, and obviously it caught my attention. So I ordered this coffee, and I was with my mom, who was chatting with one of her friends. I was really enjoying the coffee and got to see my boyfriend, who also works there, so it was a double bonus for me. As a review, the coffee was delicious, but I feel like it had a lot of ice cream and not enough coffee. I'm not complaining about the amount of ice cream, because I love ice cream, but I feel like everything should be balanced, and if they're selling us coffee, then it should taste like coffee. Even so, I would buy it again, just because the ice cream is really delicious. I hope you enjoyed hearing about this experience. See you soon.
