The intriguing Bradshaw family.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the coffee roasting company was started by the Englishman William Preston. He began by buying coffee beans, roasting them manually, grinding them and then selling them from house to house. Since then, The City coffee has been part of the coffee culture of the region.

As time went by, production was increasing so as not to have a setback in the progress they had achieved, they became associated with the Bradshaw family, where Mrs. Miranda was of a predominant and inquisitive character. Although they were two associated families, the Prestons always showed greater interest in coffee production.

The Mirandina hacienda was immense, with large corridors, but it also had secret passages with a cellar door that only a few people knew about.

The rapid development of the industry demanded an increase in the quality of the product in a special edition for export. William Preston and a team of coffee growers, after years of cultivation, came up with the expected result by planting coffee with fruit trees around it. Eureka! They achieved a unique and special coffee for export. The secret of the special edition was only held by the Preston team. Harry, Aidan and Steve prepared a sample of special edition coffee beans to deliver to various countries on the South America Paradise train route. And so it was that the three dreamers set out on the journey on a beautiful, cool day, with the sky cloud cover, with a trunk full of small coffee samples, what could go wrong?

The next day, as they were approaching their destination, the train had gone out of control, it was now a runaway train. In the midst of the confusion and because the accident had not been so serious, the passengers were getting off the train with their luggage. At that moment Aidan noticed that the trunk with the coffee sample was no longer in the carriage.

In view of what had happened, the safety officers of the South American Paradise train investigated the case. Inspector Smith had been closely observing every detail since the start of the trip and was able to conclude that someone had tampered with the train's brakes. After questioning all the passengers, one of them said he saw two men jump out of the carriage with something that looked like a large box, but they were afraid to report it so as not to complicate matters.

But who were these men who only stole his trunk? Did they know what was in it? Who would want to harm them? It was like having a puzzle box that they didn't have time to put together. Inspector Smith took the details of all the travelers to let them all go to a nearby hotel from which they could not leave while they solved the case.

Steve, Harry and Aidan stayed up all night trying to solve the riddle. Making guesses, the three agreed that these two men could be without a doubt the twins Stanford and Anthony, who were Miranda Bradshaw's sons. Miranda was the capitalist partner, who only liked to receive the profits of the company without caring how the money was obtained. Her sons never had any love for work, they only squandered the enormous wealth generated by the coffee industry.

Bradshaw was a very evil woman who only dedicated herself to inflicting hex on anyone who did not comply with her whims, having the basement of the hacienda as her lair. On the other hand, William Preston had the respect of the entire coffee guild for having raised that company from nothing with his wife Samantha and his sons Aidan, Steve and Harry.

The next morning, the three brothers told the inspector their suspicions, but what did they want to do with the coffee? Why did they steal it like common thieves? Inspector Smith and his team drew up a sketch of the Bradshaw brothers and went out in search of them.

That city looked like a labyrinth with streets, alleys and narrow stairways that had no end. It was already night and the lamppost hardly gave any light. They went through the shadows following the trail of these evildoers. They came to a toolshed at the end of a gloomy street, damp from the night's dew. There were coffee beans littering the ground and sacks of lesser quality coffee, they were unwittingly leaving traces of coffee beans all over the road and as they neared the exit of the city they saw them walking in the shadows. Immediately, the police gave the stop sign and hands up, so they had no choice but to obey. When questioned about what they had done, they answered that it had all been a plan of their mother's and that she was the one guilty of changing the quality coffee for ordinary and contaminated coffee so that the fame of the The City coffee industry would be lost and they could win a compensation for bad management from the Prestons.

Miranda Bradshaw was full of envy, rage, anger and resentment, which did not allow her to see that the prosperity of the Prestons was for all the partners of the company. The entire Bradshaw family went to jail, while the Prestons were finally able to internationalize the special edition coffee, leaving this history of intrigue and hatred of the Bradshaw's in the past.

It's great to have you join the challenge and share your creative story with us:)

Thank You. ☺️

At least it's a good thing that the Prestons are now out of the shadows of the Bradshaws and prosper to their full potential without any evil plans holding them back! It would be nice indeed to taste a cup of their coffee!

Yes, it would be great to try the special edition of their coffee. Thanks for reading me.
