Last week, I also got light bulb moment. I've been sick since Thursday and I was required to quit coffee for a while, hearing that was a nightmare. So, eventually I started researching about the best time to drink coffee and ways to drink coffee though it's advised not to. Apparently, there are some windows that is it best/you may drink coffee. This cycle has something to do with our body cortisol level. When the cortisol is high, it is best to avoid coffee so that it won't disrupt our sleeping cycle. Perhaps you were drinking it when your cortisol level was low? that could be why you could still fall asleep.
In the past, even drinking at night wouldn't disrupt my sleep but lately, it does. I also want to be more mindful about my health, so that's why I researched about that. I am going to dump my research sometime today or when I have the time to do so. Cheers and have a great Monday @millycf1976 !
Hi @macchiata
I wish you a speedy recovery and hope you get back to top shape soon.
Best wishes on improving your overall health. It takes effort, but with everything, just take it in strides and don't be too hard on yourself if you give in for treats:)
I'm looking forward to your findings about coffee because for some reason, I was wide awake and restless last night. I'll have to check my calendar to see what the moon days are, as in the past, especially in the Philippines, I had real difficulty sleeping on full moon nights (must have been because of the place on the equator).
Wishing you a great Monday and a super week 💐
