Between Coffees, Letters, and Gossip.

Hello to all coffee enthusiasts!

A few days ago, I had the pleasure of spending an unforgettable afternoon with some friends at the charming café beneath the cathedral. Surrounded by the intoxicating aroma of freshly brewed coffee, we began an animated conversation about the cultural scene and the monopolies of art. It was an enriching exchange where we discussed the influence of large monopolies on the distribution and appreciation of contemporary art.

The conversation flowed towards national literature, its exponents, and how to stand out. We talked about the classics and the new voices that are making their mark on the literary landscape.

Her face is art☝️

As expected, where there is good coffee and the right people, there is also the moment for gossip 🤭, that social spice that, although trivial, always proves entertaining. From there, we took a turn towards the quintessential romantic tragedy: Romeo and Juliet (in this case, it wasn't Shakespeare's play, but a love affair of one of our friends, which turned out to be just as tragic, if not more, than the classic tragedy itself).

The afternoon took an unexpected turn when Yelena joined us (that's not her actual name, but one used by many due to some communication mix-ups, and it's the one I remembered 😅). She shared with us a bit of what she calls "her little bit of chaos." Her unique perspective and vibrant personality captivated us, and I must confess, I fell in love at first sight (or rather, at first sound). Her way of seeing the world and expressing herself was simply fascinating.

After enjoying another round of coffee and more harmless gossip, accompanied by a bit of literature, the inevitable moment of farewell arrived. With a broken heart, I packed my emotions into my backpack and headed home, but with the firm assurance that we would soon have another gathering like this.

¡Until next time!
