Hello, Saturday! Hello, dear readers!
It is the time of the week that is devoted to my coffee post and I have a special coffee that I am cirrently enjoying, but why not go back in time for about 1 week and see where did I go?

The Family specialty coffee is located in the second biggest city in Bulgaria - Plovdiv where we went the last Sunday… We had a whole day to spend there and what a better opportunity to try find a good place where we can enjoy our favorite drink.

The barista was nice and aksed us for our choice. We gladly informed him about our pssion about specialty cofee and that we seek more weird and fruity taste. He told us that a coffee from Costa Roca would fit our taste perfectly.
“Two double shot espressos for us, please!”

The grinder they used is one of the finest available espresso grinders and it costs about $2500… This thing is a beast and grinds one espresso dose for about 2 seconds. As a comparisson, my grinder does this for about 15-20 seconds… But don’t forget that my grinder costs about $200. 🤷🏻♂️😁
Of course, espresso was brewed on a machine, that was very fancy too! With its variable water flow, you can pull some pretty amazing shots, but of course if you know how to use it properly.

Look at these cups! Do you like them? They were not mu favorite, quite retro looking and they were definitely too heavy. This is due to the thick walls… this is maybe better when it has to keep your coffee warm, but really not good looking to me. I liked more the water glasses, which were short, but very wide. They were like some type of buckets 😁

To be honest, coffee was good, but not that special, especially when its proce was about$2,5-$3. We definitely enjoyed it, but we expected something more spectacular. 😁
Let’s get back to today’s morning. I am enjoying a coffee far more special and limited than this Costa Rica. Be Berry coffee, roasted in the Czech Republic is back to our Specialty Coffee 23 place and Misho (the barista) has chosen amazing products, as always. He managed to buy some boxes from a very limited edition coffee from
Colombia.

Among all the other varieties this sounded like the most unique coffee to me. We talk about Anaerobic Natural process and we will gladly enjoy some passion fruit, tangerine and red grapes flavor notes. So far, so good… It is definitely yummy on paper.

We chose to open these espresso coffee beans for two reasons. The first one is that we want to have filter coffee later, when we go out for a walk and coffee and the second is that is promises to be excellently tasting.

The grinder is loaded and although I need about 15 seconds or so to grind my beans, I can enjoy the views of my special present coming with this coffee - the Be Berry sticker. 🤣

These beans start to bloom with their excellent aroma as soon as the grinder start to break them in little pieces. This action can do nothing more, but make me more impatient about the coffee itself.

Okay, we are ready! The first sip really shows the full potential of the coffee. It is very balanced between the sourness and the sweetnesss and the fruit combination feels perfect. The body is full and the flavor is thick! These tropical notes really rock and build up a lovely experience.

Oh, wait… the breakfast is ready and I’d better be faster posting this. I don’t want to miss these pancakes that my wife prepared for us.

What do you think? Will you enjoy some more weird and limited edition coffee, or would you prefer a traditional flavor? For me it is the weird one all the way and I never regret on experimenting with dofferent coffee flavors.
Time to leave you now… see you soon and have a wonderful weekend. Bye! Enjoy your coffee and take care!
What a cute little shop! Not to mention the coffee looks good.
Yeah, it was really neat and cosy. The coffee wasn’t stunning, but it was very good.
I have a hard time telling the difference between coffee so as long as it is drinkable I'm good.
Thanks for stopping by:)
Always a pleasure!
Hey man, glad to see you sippin, and beastin like a champ. Cool spot to chill at.
Yeah, it was definitely a chillin’ experience, because outside it was like 35 degrees centigrade 😁
