I have mentioned from my past posts already that although I love coffee, I can’t drink it everyday because of the caffeine’s effect on my body! But here it is, another coffee shop review, hive people!
It is me again! Well, we don't have that much program at school these past few days, so yeah, there will be a pause for my school-related-blogs for now!
I have seen a lot of reviews of this small coffee shop in every social media platform, from facebook to tiktok, and even here at hive! So I finally tried it! The Don Machiattos!
It is after my Physical Education class so I decided to grab a coffee before I go home, since I have a lot of deadlines piled up on my plate, and I have to finish it already. Because of the number of things I have to accomplish and submit, I need caffeine to keep me up at night and help me get rid of the sleepy side of me.
It is located in front of Uno-R Bacolod (school) #51 Lizares Avenue, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. It is also near the bus stop so it is convenient if I want to grab one before I go home.
It is famous because of its affordable price! Imagine, for just 39 pesos you can already have an iced coffee with the flavor of your choice! It is great for those students who are on a budget, don't like hot coffees, and need to stay up at night. And for those who just want something to drink and don't need the power of caffeine, you can also ask the barista to not put a coffee on it, if I just don’t have school work to accomplish later that day, I would've ordered the “without coffee” option.
They served three flavors! Caramel Macchiato, Matcha Latte, and Strawberry latte. They didn't have a strawberry latte at that time which is fine with me since I personally went there for the matcha latte! (MATCHA DOESN’T TASTE LIKE GRASS!)
Although I love how it tastes, the matcha flavor is so subtle, but I am not complaining though, considering its price. The taste of it is perfect for those who want to taste matcha for the first time because the aroma of it is not that strong, but for matcha lovers, I suggest you get a different flavor, I want to try their caramel latte next time!
As with the coffee shop’s appearance, It is just like a small stall with a cute swing in the side, good for those who want to take a photo with their coffee. I have seen a lot of branches of it and all of them were just like stalls. But I love how every stall looks similar to each other, with wood like walls and plant vines draping in its logo. It is perfect when you just want to pick up your coffee and don’t have any intention of staying in a coffee shop. All in all, it is a must try!

They have lots of branches now at Bacolod. I bought one in Fortune Towne near our campus, and they also said that there is another branch in taculing. I even passed by on one of their chains near STI-WNU. Though I like my stronger, their coffee taste good also.

The coffee is not that strong, which is just fine for me since I'm also cannot handle too much caffeine in my system.
That iced coffee looks really good, I like that coffee shops offer options for those who don't like hot coffee.
I think they just serve iced coffee
