RE: CLOSED - Coffee Conversation: Event 72 (June 22 - 24)

in Cinnamon Cup Coffeelast year

Hmmm, this is interesting because you have two different types and saying that the clear glass one is kept in a dark place caught my attention. Is that to preserve it?
Also, it is great of you to join the conversation and, better yet, to officially be the first commenter:)))

They are practical reasons, in the end, like your decision to have plastic containers, because your domestic space does not support another solution that is more to your liking.
The large jar in my photo was bought by my daughter, and I find it beautiful and I love that I can store a whole kilo of coffee at once, but I have read that coffee must be preserved from light to avoid degrading its quality, so I keep it at the bottom of the cupboard.
The small jar is handy and takes up little space on my kitchen table. It closes very well and preserves the aroma and protects from light. It is a recycling action, I like that. Point against: it is plastic.

Yes, that's an important factor because it's great when you can empty an entire packet in the container at once.

I know this to be true for other things such as natural oils, so I would not be surprised if it's the coffee case too. It sounds like a legitimate point.

Your daughter has good taste 😍

There is magic when you can combine practicality with the beauty.💗
My daughter is a designer and she knows these things, has very good taste and loves kitchen implements. She loves mugs...she also sees colors so specific that they are a topic of dissertation for my sleepless nights! 😁
