I would have made it in a helicopter
Damn, you make me feel kind of stupid now. When I worked at that very resort, the Prime Minister came there regularly. I was very close to his chief security who offered to take me on a tour in the helicopter SO MANY TIMES and I refused. I'm slapping myself now!
For Jamaicans, going to the French or Dutch Caribbean islands is a big treat. Even though some of them are not as naturally pretty with an amazing geographical layout as some islands like Jamaica, their towns are clean and well-maintained. There's also order and a strong presence of a strong government with law and order that might be lacking in countries like Jamaica.
I do hope that you still get to visit Venezuela sometimes, and I trust you now have an appreciation for the Canadian cold 😁
LOL!, the cold here is torture, but the snow is a beauty. I learned to love the four seasons; each has its charm. God willing, on the 14th of December I will travel to Venezuela with my son Matthew, it has been twelve years since I last set foot in my homeland. It will be Matthew's first trip to Venezuela, he will meet his uncles and cousins...
