RE: Excelso Brazilian Santos Review : Dried fruit, Smoky, & Caramel Notes

in Cinnamon Cup Coffee3 years ago

Hello Mac,
Brazilian coffee is popular for sure. Even my Mum who does not drink coffee mentioned that to me yesterday when I spoke to her. She reminded me of a little song which goes, "there's a whole lot of coffee in Brazil..."😅

Interesting that Brazilian Santos is named after the port.

Great info about the cupping, and my wish is to visit coffee farms to learn more about the processes.
I missed out on trips to the Blue Mountain Coffee Plantation in Jamaica but hopefully I'll get to one day.

Dries fruit and smoky taste would be fine for me. Just not an earthy after taste.

Thanks for sharing;-)

Oh there's even a song about that! I didn't know. From what I gather, many of my Brazilian colleagues indeed love their coffee, it's one of the best, so not surprised at all. I saw Blue Mountain Coffee the other day too, would love to try if that's on stock. I hope one day you'll get to go and share with us, and me especially about their coffee process. I am generally curious about the washing method as it is also a factor that affects the quality of taste from the coffee. Have a great Wednesday!

Yeah, I was foolish to miss those opportunities. Someday!
Have a nice day too;-)
