RE: I Have Never Seen It Before, A Painter Sketch With Ink Coffee

in Cinnamon Cup Coffee3 years ago

Hello @razack-pulo, I do adore coffee art too, and I only ever knew about this by @marya77 who also does coffee art.
I particularly like the tone because it breaks the monotony of regular charcoal.
Twenty years ago I was on holiday in London and sat still for a few hours in Piccadilly Circus, while an artist drew me (lol), I believe I paid around 25 GBP though.😅

When I discovered coffee art, I wondered if this was it, but another artist friend of mine said maybe it's just brown pencil. Either way, I like the look of this (tone) and coffee drawing/painting in general. That picture is hanging in my bedroom in Mom's house Jamaica:).
Thanks for sharing this with us. I love to see this kind of creativity, especially using coffee:)
Have a nice day!

Wow! The sketch of you is so amazingly beautiful. It’s twenty years ago you have known the art of coffee ink, but me was just yesterday lol..

I witnessed yesterday that the painter is truly using coffee ink. But, I didn’t see how did he got the extract of coffee. Is it espresso or sareng? Or maybe they have special way to make the ink. Unfortunately, I didn’t interview the painter :)

When you back to Jamaica, please show me Blue Mountains Coffee 😁
Have a nice day, too @millycf1976

I'll show you Blue Mountain Coffee then for sure:)

I've seen marya77 use instant coffee to do the mixture, but I guess any coffee could do, but instant would be more cost effective.

All good wishes to you too!😄

Thank you in advance 😁
Yeah, instant coffee would be easier to make the ink.
Have a good day, @millycg1976 :)
