Hello, coffee lovers!
I'm so glad you're doing this initiative for the 10th anniversary of International Coffee Day.
For me, coffee has always been a cause for celebration, and a celebration in itself. Everyone, every country has its own ceremony, its own culture.
I remember that for a long time, when I lived in Cuba, there was a pretty good coffee shop next to the headquarters of the magazine where I worked as director. Before going to work, I would sit with my friends who were already there, or I would wait for them. Then, once at work, we would make coffee again, and so on for almost the entire day.
I haven't had that experience here in Spain. I enjoy and celebrate coffee at home, with my wife and my oldest son when he stays with us.
I only know a few coffee shops in my area, so yesterday I started celebrating with my wife at home.
I don't have any photos of it here, as I don't know if it's legal or not allowed to take photos.
One of the things we've wanted to do since we found out about International Coffee Day is to finally buy a coffee maker that can make several types of coffee. We only had the one known as an Italian coffee maker. This way we can make mochas, cappuccinos, and other recipes.
However, since coffee is part of our culture, we've always had coffee-related mug sets and decorations. Coffee is part of our lives.
As part of the celebration, I'll find a coffee shop near where we live and take my wife out. I'll ask if we can take photos to share with the community. That's what I'll do starting tomorrow, since we've been celebrating every day of our lives.
Every morning is a new ceremony, a new reason to celebrate good coffee as a family.
En familia se hacen las mejores celebraciones.
