A coffee in search of light | The Coffee Shop Prompt Week 145 [EN-ES]

Hello coffee lovers on Hive!

It's the first week of December, and what better way to welcome it than with a coffee! Whether it's day or night, with or without electricity, a coffee is always welcome.

Last night, there was a power outage in a large part of my city, including my house. The moon was beautiful. The sky was clear. It was the perfect night for a walk, hoping to calm the thoughts that had been weighing on my heart.

Fortunately, there was electricity in part of the city center, and a café run by a friend was open. As fate would have it, the café is called Blackout, a reminder that power outages can still occur even with electricity.

The place, as usual, was quite busy. On one side, a couple with a third person. Next to them, another couple enjoying the evening and their coffee alone...

I ordered a coffee, then remembered the question @cinnccf posed in their initiative and started thinking about how to answer it...

In front of me, amidst smiles and coffee meant to be shared, were two radiant young women ready for something I had no intention of reciprocating. Not because I wasn't attracted to them—on the contrary, they were—but because I'm going through a painful process that needs healing.

If I had reciprocated by engaging with either of them, in the way they seemed attracted to me, it would have been a way of using them, of hurting them in some way, and I'm not a man capable of using, manipulating selfishly, or hurting any woman.

So I apologized to them, thanked them for their smiles and their interest, and sat alone at a reserved table.

I smiled at the curious thing that had happened and tried to enjoy my surroundings to distract myself and not think about anything...

This place has its own magic. The design is a real treat for any antique dealer. The antique pieces, the diverse colors that subtly connect elements evoking different countries, are complemented by the magnificence of other items displayed for all to see.

The Cuban flag flying high, next to one of the most beautiful lamps I've seen lately, paintings with diverse scenes and poses all with similar styles, caricatures of local artists and others who have visited the place, the colorful stained-glass windows, and the furniture, worthy of museum display for its historical value, all make one feel comfortable and truly enjoy the coffee more than when alone, but...

For now, I'll order another coffee in my solitude, with a smile on my face.

This is a coffee shop that reminds us the world is small and dreams can come true.

It doesn't matter that there's no electricity in my city, whether you're just passing through or not, as long as that sign says the cafe is open, I recommend you come and visit this place to enjoy an exquisite and strong coffee, good music, a pleasant atmosphere, a good option without a doubt.

For now, I'll say goodbye, until our next coffee, but not before sending you all, as always, a hug of light!

This is my participation in the contest that @cinnccf proposes to us through the #CinnamonCupCoffee community.

Thank you very much for your visit!

December means the last month of the year. People are excited for the arrival of the New Year. You mentioned that there is darkness in one part of the city due to lack of electricity, but the moon has made it bright and beautiful with its light.

You enjoyed coffee in the part of the city where there is electricity and appreciated the charm of the hotel that belongs to your friend. But I like Czech very much and when my heart desires, I enjoy tea. I hope that this blog of yours will be included in one of the good blogs. Thank you for sharing.
