Así como los Venezolanos 🇻🇪 adoramos nuestro rico guayoyo o cafecito con leche, aquí en Canarias, especialmente en Tenerife, les encanta el café con leche pero con un toque especial: la leche condensada. Si te encuentras en la Península de España, lo conocen como café Bombón, pero si vas a Gran Canaria debes pedirlo como Leche y Leche, mientras que en Tenerife lo conocen como Barraquito. Como es muy usual aquí, todos lo llaman Leche y Leche y así lo pido yo también.
Just as we Venezuelans 🇻🇪 love our rich guayoyo or cafecito con leche, here in the Canary Islands, especially in Tenerife, they love coffee with milk but with a special touch: condensed milk. If you are on the Spanish mainland, they know it as café Bombón, but if you go to Gran Canaria you should ask for it as Leche y Leche, while in Tenerife they know it as Barraquito. Yo cada vez que voy a un bar o restaurante, solía tomarme uno acompañado de algún pedazo de tarta del día que me ofrecieran. Más si eran pasadas las 5pm, en víspera de la bendita Golden Hour, donde los últimos rayitos del Sol te embriagan con sus delicados destellos. Actualmente mi consumo de café ha bajado enormemente debido a mi embarazo porque suele bajarme muchísimo el hierro. Pero de vez en cuando no hace daño, así que peco con este placer culposo. El aroma del café recién hecho es uno de mis aromas favoritos en el mundo entero porque me trae recuerdos de mi abuela materna en Venezuela.

Paso 1. Puedes preparar tu café en la greca normal o si usas colador de tela, prepara tu café negro como habitualmente lo haces. Esta receta es para dos tazas grandes de café. Una vez que esté listo, reserva.

Para sacarle espumita a la leche utilice un batidor eléctrico. Pero puedes colocarla en la licuadora y prenderla hasta conseguir esta espuma.
