Easy Cold Brew Recipe for Hot Summer Days

in Cinnamon Cup Coffee2 years ago (edited)

Do you know how easy it is to make cold brew coffee? I only learned it last week. Before that, I thought it required a special technique or equipment because it is usually among the most expensive coffees in coffee shops.

However, I learned that it is actually incredibly easy to make, so I tried it! And, let me tell you, it is as easy as it seems. Nothing complicated, no fancy equipment or barista knowledge required. I will share exactly how I did it ☺

1- Stir together 50 grams of coffee and 1 liter of water in a carafe.
2- Cover the top of the carafe with a cloth or napkin.
3 - Let it rest at least for 12 hours in the refrigerator. If you like your coffee stronger, you can let it rest longer (between 14-20 hours).

4-Pour coffee into another jug straining through a coffee filter. I used my french press for this. (As you can see, I had some accidents in this step, but that's ok 😄)
5- Your coffee is ready! You can add some ice cubes and milk to your glass. Mine tasted fantastic with milk!
