I Chose Coffeeshop | TCSP W-135

Hello everyone, It's been a long time since I shared stories about coffee at CinnCC. The last time I shared a story was in August 2023, and that was a long time ago. Of course, after looking at old posts in the community, it made me miss everything related to coffee that I shared here. There are so many memories stored here, from meetings and various activities at coffee shops or simply travelling, and yes, now I'm back to writing about coffee :)

Thank you to @cinnccf for this week's TCSP prompt, which has given me a reason to explain why I choose coffee shops as my favourite place. Here is the prompt :

The Coffee Shop Prompt (Week 135)

What makes you choose coffee shops over teahouses? Tell us about anything that you find particularly appealing about your preferred choice, and add original coffee shop or tea shop photos of your recent outing.

Why?

Of course, the main reason I chose a coffee shop is because I love coffee, especially black coffee in any method, but I particularly like the V60 method because with that method I can taste the coffee beans in a special way in every post-harvest process and also, of course, coffee from various regions, both Arabica and Robusta, but I tend to prefer bitter notes with a chocolate or nutty flavour.

Then, of course, coffee shops became more prevalent in my area, where coffee shops could be found everywhere rather than tea shops, and there were many choices when I wanted to visit according to my desires and tastes. If I wanted to be alone, I would go to a slow bar coffee shop that served manual brew coffee. If I wanted a new atmosphere, I would look for a coffee shop that was attractive in appearance and design, perfect for taking photos because of its beauty. I'm also often amazed by the innovative ideas behind coffee shops that dare to introduce new concepts I've never encountered before—it's not just about aesthetics.

This is a coffee shop I just visited tonight. I met some friends there and also worked on some digital drawings on my laptop. Currently, I am starting to be more active online, doing everything digitally, creating digital collages, drawing digitally, and decorating my social media accounts, hehe :D

This coffee shop offers beautiful views of the south of Jakarta, overlooking a golf course.

There is also a large ship mural indoors.

I love the exterior of the building! Though it seems to me, good coffeeshops and good teahouses should share that quality of being cozy and intimate, and just provide the right vibe, you know, that we're all looking for when we're looking to escape. :) Sounds like a nice evening!

Hi, thank you for visiting. At least I'm back hanging out at the coffee shop after a lot of tiring trips :)
