I recently had the incredible opportunity to visit a coffee plantation in Bali, where I embarked on a unique coffee-tasting adventure. One of the highlights was trying the renowned coffee luwak, which is made from coffee beans that have been eaten and excreted by a small mammal called the Asian palm civet. It may sound unusual, but the result is a remarkably smooth and flavorful brew. Alongside the coffee luwak, I also had the chance to sample various other coffee types. Each variety had its own distinct aroma, taste, and character, showcasing the rich diversity of coffee that the plantation had to offer. It was an unforgettable experience that deepened my appreciation for the art and craftsmanship behind producing exceptional coffee.
