Saturday morning walk (20 pics)

in SublimeSunday2 years ago (edited)

Hello, my friends.

Yesterday, Friday, in the afternoon, heavy snow began to fall—traffic jams formed on the roads of the city. I managed to come home with my youngest daughter at 9 pm. And the snow continued to fall. I thought he would go this morning, but I was wrong. This morning I woke up, looked out the window, and saw a beautiful sunrise in a clear sky. It was very unexpected. When I opened the door to the backyard, I noticed that the snow and wind had done an excellent job yesterday. The snow was wet and sticky, and in the morning the thermometer showed -10C, so the snow stuck well to everything.

So yesterday I saw Mother Nature's hooliganism in the evening. But yesterday morning the path was clean and there was no snow on the grill.

In the morning I managed to walk to my small farm, but the snow got into my boots. This means the height of the snow on the footpath is above 30 cm.
So I have to clean it all up today.

It's good that the sun is already waking up early. It is much more pleasant to walk in the morning in the light than in the dark. That's exactly what I did today!

I went out on the road and was surprised that a tractor had already passed and cleared the road of snow. This means that walking will be even more pleasant. Light frost, clean fresh air, Sun - a good Saturday morning! But today I will have a walk alone. The wife with the eldest daughter and son-in-law went to visit her mother this weekend.

Last night I went down the hill on this road. But it seems to me that today someone has already stormed this hill in the morning by car..

This is our local stadium. Although the sun has already risen above the horizon, it is not very high yet, so the stadium is in the shade of trees.

People have vegetables stored in such houses. This is called a "vegetable pit", i.e., in fact, a pit has been dug in the ground, in which vegetables and other winter canned supplies are stored - pickles, tomatoes, lecho, sauces, and so on.

Cars are left on the central streets because people are afraid to enter the inner small streets or simply could not even pass. That's why I don't like cars without all-wheel drive because they are limited in their capabilities.

A small local shop on this street. I've never been in it.

Today I saw for sure that no one lives in this house anymore. The windows on the other side are boarded up and there are no traces to the house. A man who participated in the Vietnam War in the early 70s of the last century lived in this house. At that time, the Soviet Union did not advertise the presence of its soldiers in Vietnam. The man served in the air defense forces. There was no record of his time in Vietnam on his military ID. He told me about it himself in 1999.
My cousin participated in the Vietnam-China military conflict in 1979. He also has no entry in the military ticket. Officially, the USSR did not participate in the Korean War either. But in fact, it is not a secret.
Apparently, the owner of this house has died. He was a fisherman and in previous years I saw him in the morning when he went fishing on the river. I haven't seen him this year.

That looks awesome! Over there people can't be in a hurry, just getting into the car seems to be a full time job! 😂

That's for sure. Here people live their leisurely lives. But I know that it happens in any small town or village. Even in Portugal.

Sure, but over here you won't need to waste time unburying your car from under the snow pile. Nor driving at 3 km/h due to all that snow in the road! 😁

Not all cars will be able to drive along this road in the spring, when the snow begins to melt. Only four-wheel drive helps!

Wow, that means at least one foot of snow. All nice and white after that.

Yes, beautiful and white!

1 foot is 30.48 cm .

So we have 3 foot of snow!

Wow, that's a lot.

Весна? Нее, не видели...😁

уууу... как нас засыпало снегом в пятницу!
А сегодня было +4... и асфальт совсем уплыл со снегом.

Пргоноз сеголня напугал - 20 через типа несколько дней показал. а потом отменили.
