I have always leaned to picking up used rather new, generally you can save a little and also reduce the landfill horror show society has created. While you might not be saving any money in this case - both are far too good to sit and unused and you can just see the build quality - from a time when products were built to last a lifetime not just until the Warranty expires. I like the Kalamazoo for the name and window in the door! But the General Electric has super shiny chrome knobs - ooh decisions.
