After a crazy hot mid week in the UK with temperatures reaching 30 degrees Celsius, this weekend has been wet and windy! Saturday was still warm, and had sunny spells interspersed with torrential rain - very easy to get caught and get a soaking! Today though it is much cooler, and the wind is fierce.
While it was still Sunday I managed to get a few photos of the Strawberries getting ripe in our garden.
They seem to be getting quite ripe early this year, must be the combination of sun and rain.
What it has been over the past weeks is a rare selection of awesome sunsets, being inside at work all day - the evening is the only chance I have had to get a little bit of sun - so sitting in the garden until it set's is a must for me.
I can normally get in around 3 to 4 hours in the garden before the sun disappears - I just have to keep moving chair position to keep catching the sun.
The BBQ moves around too, after cooking it's also handy once the sun has set as a heater to keep sitting out until it is too dark.

Stuff keeps moving over the days and weeks, the recycled pallet enclosure thing my eldest boy is building is now painted in fence paint brown - starting to look quite nice actually.
And how's that for fancy, sometimes we have a sun shade umbrella out to keep the hottest sun off.
