I went for a walk in a local forest today. The snow had all melted, and rain had taken its place. I decided to take advantage of a break in the showers to do a circular walk around the forest.
As I walked along the footpath, I noticed something hanging from one of the tree branches.
At first, I thought it might have been lost property that someone had found and left there for its owner to come back and find it. But as I got closer, I realised that it was a small crocheted gift hanging from the branch, along with a message in a tiny bag. It read, "I'm not lost, I'm just alone, if I make you smile then please take me home. Please post a photo to Facebook - random acts of kindness". It was good that someone had taken the time to make something so lovely and leave it for a stranger to find.
Further along the path, I found another heart shaped crocheted gift. I decided to leave this one for someone else to take.
When I got back to the car, I took a closer look at the gift. It turned out to be a crocheted octupus on a keyring. 🙂

How nice to have a nice walk and get some cute gift! Very good idea to spread the love and kindness around.
