Hello,
This is the first Sunday in the month of January and in the year 2022 and it is a great thing to give thanks to my maker for the gift of life given unto me .
Today I worshipped at Living faith church aka winners chapel and most people came to church because it was thanksgiving service and everyone is looking beautiful with their new clothes and shoes and nice makeup. People are just greeting each other happy new year because some have not seen each other since last year and the church was filled up .
Every new year brings Avenue for starting over again. Things that has past is of old . We have new year and and years to come. If we hold unto the past it hinders our life from progressing. It is new beginning so expect new things and great expectations.

we must be committed to building our faith. If other things fail it is our faith that put us in the center of gravity. Faith is the beauty of Christianity and also faith is a personal asset. The pastor explained ways we can build our faith is by prayer .

I guess this means it's sort of tradition to wear new clothes during the New Year similar to what we do for Chinese New Year.
Yes most people dress in their colorful clothes. Any child who doesn’t wear new clothes that day he or she will feel inferior to others and kills the moral in a child. So everyone dress beautifully. Thanks for stopping by @ace108
