Wow! This is awesome! Well...for me as a person who has only seen snow once as a child...many moons ago...lol! We have tropical weather where we stay and snow is just something you don't see around here.
We get the cold winds coming from the mountains (inland) when they get snow. They get the snow (the beauty) and we get the cold winds.
I know the feeling of hearing that they are "aware of the problem". We normally have that when sitting with no electricity...lol. I often feel like telling them "yes, we're all aware of the problem! That's not the issue! We would like to know what is being done to solve the problem!"
I hope you don't get to the point where you have to shut down like your sister camp though.
Good luck in dealing with the challenges that come along with the beautiful scenes and also all the best with your family who has to walk through all that snow...
