This is amongst one of my favorite places to go on a day outing outside the city. It was closed for a long time but it is now finally open and over the weekend we decided to do a day picnic to the Dam.
The views from this place are simply breathtaking. I love to watch the sunset from here, though this time we could not get the sunset clear as it was a cloudy day. It did not rain but there were clouds which made the weather wonderful to spend the day out.
There is a park around the dam, which has good amount of trees, so you get a shade to relax and spend time. Also there is one small restaurant which serves some basic food and juices, and a washroom facility is available, so it makes a perfect spot for a day picnic.

I love these weekend outings and the long drives, they are a perfect way to unwind and rejuvenate.
