Happy Saturday, amazing people!

I'm here once again in the community to impart to you a remarkable family experience we had last November of 2023. Assuming you've been following my blogs, you could definitely be aware of our visit to the creepy yet captivating abandoned hotel in Baguio City - The Diplomat Hotel situated in Dominican Hill. In any case, for the people who haven't read my posts, here's our story.

My husband, my daughter, and I first set foot on the Diplomat Hotel's grounds on a brisk Sunday morning. We were among the first to show up, with the early morning haze actually waiting around the unwanted design, making a shocking yet charming air. As we ventured into the abandoned hotel, an influx of wistfulness washed over us. The once clamoring corridors, presently quiet and forsaken, repeated a past loaded up with stories ready to be found. The air had a peculiar, uncanny inclination to it — a blend of spookiness and interest. In any case, in spite of the frightening vibe, there was something about the spot that buried the hatchet.

Strolling through the hotel felt like time travel. Each corner and each room had a story to tell. The weather beaten walls, the disintegrating flights of stairs, and the unfilled rooms generally filled in as tokens of the hotel's great past and its unexpected drop into blankness. What made this experience really extraordinary was spending it to my loved ones. My daughter's wide-looked at wonder, her interest provoked by the hotel's set of experiences, and my husband's encouraging presence made this experience even more unique.

Diplomat Hotel, with its unpleasant excellence and tranquil vibe, allowed us daily to recall. Exploration, sharing of tales, and the making of new memories were all part of the day. Regardless of its standing as a 'spooky' place, we tracked down peacefulness and a feeling of association with history.

In conclusion, our visit at the Diplomat Hotel was anything but typical. It was an excursion back in time, an exhilarating investigation, and a serene retreat, all moved into one. It was an encounter that showed us that even in places deserted and neglected, there is excellence and harmony to be found.

I still get goosies everytime I think about it. I am sharing this as my entry to @photofeed's Cityscape Photography Round 64. Thank you, my friends!

It's a little creepy, but I was not scared when we were there, mommy 🙏😀

You are brave, Nani :)

Very spooky looking building. Too bad it can't be used for something else.

I know, big bro! Been abandoned since the killer quake happened in 1990.

The first photo actually look like a scene from a thriller movie where a masked man will suddenly appear carrying a big knife haha. But its sad na abandonado na sha
