The HPUD is mostly to encourage users to participate and it involves prizes and other stuff to get more people to actually power up, so out of all the shit posts other this particular activity is sad to see getting drag in the same category as that, but whatever everybody can post what they want in their blog.

Don't get me wrong, it's a good initiative to encourage powering up and keeping HIVE in wallets, but why not encourage that every day? Why not scour the chain to see who is powering up consistently and reward them too?
well... that is done too (through @hivebuzz), a simple look at what the initiative does and how it works would help you find that out, but if you want to talk shit about it without knowing more is your prerogative.
I've been here ages and know who's who and what's what. Don't assume I'm ignorant please. I don't see most whales voting past ten times a day and it's on specific accounts and posts. Have you looked into the HBD stabilizer at all? Maybe I'm just butthurt I don't have whales scooping me up on a pedestal. Then again, I've never been one to suck up to people and pretend to be something or someone I'm not.

Ok so, I clumped it in the shit pile because there is a promise of being rewarded like LPUD and most of the gaming posts. I would go out on a limb and say people save their HIVE just because of that. The initiative itself is awesome @traciyork, but the piles of doodoo it creates - not so much. Some include it with other things and it's not so boring. It's awesome to see people want to stay here and build their stake but - potato, potato. It's still a potato.
