This weekend I am on a wildlife photography trip in eastern Austria at Lake Neusiedler. Unfortunately we are a little later this year because of the Covid-19 restrictions, and there are not so many birds as usual.
But still I was able to shoot several nice pictures, but compared to the last years when we arrived here earlier in spring we didn't have that nice results. We still have one day left so maybe I am able to improve this results with tomorrows pictures.
It was raining several times during the day but only for a very short time. After one short rain shower we found this beautiful rainbow.
The covid restrictions have placed a damper on many people's plans, but things are looking up. Despite not seeing everything on this trip that you had seen in the past, it had to feel great just being able to get out and about.
Rainbows are one of the coolest things that Mother Nature puts on display every so often. Here is a picture of one of the most fabulous rainbows I have ever seen. I captured this picture of it while visiting my brother.
