Birds, ground squirrels, bunnies and hamsters are so nice and funny to watch that I really have to do it very often. This gives me a lot of pleasure and I also like to take pictures of these events. Unfortunately the only wild hamsters I know live in Vienna and I usually have to drive a greater distance to reach them. But several times in the year I still drive to Vienna for some photography and to meet some friends there. These times I use to also take several pictures of bunnies, ground squirrels, hamsters, the little bittern and other birds that can be found there in Vienna.
In the evening we usually do the hamster pictures as a finale of the photography trip since they get active before sunset and in the early evening. And I think the hamsters are nearly as cute as the ground squirrels even though they don't get so close.
