Waterfalls and Mountain Landscapes in Austria

in PhotoFeed6 months ago

During summer time I enjoy hiking in the mountains where it is not so hot in greater hights. I enjoy taking pictures of birds other animals and landscapes there. Since birds and animals usually hide during the hot time of the day the only opportunity is to either visit a forest with a lot of shaddow or to visit spots that are a little bit higher in the mountains. And mountains are usually also a great spot for finding other animals like marmottes or capricorns. The colors of the grass and the vegetation is always so green up there when the colors down in the valley are already starting to get brown in the middle of summer.

Watching the water flow out of a hole in the mountains is also another thing that I enjoy. Not all the water is melting water but there are also some springs that come from the middle of the mountain and where a lot of water is exiting the rocks. On the first picture here I found a great waterfall that is flowing down the rocks and I really enjoy that one half of the pictures is enlighted by the sun and the other part is in the shadow - This makes it so much more interesting at least in my opinion.

I am already looking forward to next year in summer where I will definitely visit some mountains again, but this year I will also try to make some more milky way pictures, I hope the weather allows it, and this time we have a cloud free sky. I can imagine some really nice spots with the milkyway in the background and an old chapel in the foreground for example or beautiful mountains in the foreground and the stars of the milky way in the background. We'll see what kinds of spots I will find next year.

Another positive thing about trying to take some pictures of the milky way in the mountains is that there is not so much light pollution up there, so it might be a little bit easier to find some spots wehre it is actually possible, depending on how much light is comin from the valleys.

I have never been in Alps, maybe it is my mistake.

Yes is a mistake, can be very beautiful, but i have to admit that i also only so the rasiert hiking Trailer with my camera Equipment.

I visited Austria last year but failed terribly to explore any of its mountains, unfortunately. I do hope though that I'll have another trip soon which is entirely dedicated to this kind of beautiful scenery offered by nature on that part of the world :)

The scenery looks so relaxing!!! And the falls, too! I was stunned by how beautiful it was, great photo!
