A view of Ljubljana in color, black and white and monochrome effect (En/Es) | PhotoFeed Contest - Cityscape Photography

English:

In this occasion I show a view of Ljubljana, with the traditional constructions in the foreground and the modern and higher buildings in the background. This was taken from a hill were the castle is located. I used a Sony DSC-R1 for taking this photo and Gimp for editing it. I present there versions: in its original colors, black and white, and in monochromatic effect, obtained by selective desaturation of different color channels.

En esta ocasión muestro una “postal” de la capital eslovena, con una vista de la ciudad combinando las construcciones clásicas en primer plano y en el fondo las estructuras modernas de mayor altura. La foto fue tomada desde la colina del castillo de Liubliana. La cámara usada fue una Sony DSC-R1 y la edición la realicé en Gimp. Muestro la imagen en sus colores originales, blanco y negro y con desaturación selectiva, de los diversos canales cromáticos.

I have been in Ljubljana many times, since I have good friends living there. Whenever I am in Central Europe, I try to go there. This photo is from 2009.
