The street puppetry is a form of popular art very common in almost all the cities of the world. The photography shows one of these performances held in Antofagasta (Chile). Notice that next to the artist there is a bronze sculpture in real size of an important doctor/physician of this Chilean city, his name was: Antonio Rendic Ivanovic.
The photo was taken with an iPhone 5S and edited in Gimp. I also share a black and white version.
El teatro de marionetas se practica mucho en forma ambulante como una expresión de arte de las calles, en casi todas las ciudades del mundo. En la fotografía muestro una de estas representaciones tomada en Antofagasta. Noten que al lado del artista hay unas esculturas en bronce en tamaño real de un médico importante de la ciudad, conocido como “médico de los pobres”, su nombre era Antonio Rendic Ivanovic.
