Hello Hivers!
Today I'd like to share some photos of what people usually refer to as ugly weather, but i don't see it that way at all. It's truly wonderful!
Now as beautiful as it is here in this part of Cebu when the weather is idylic, and it is stunningly beautiful when it is, there's a special majesty about a storm. And a certian apprehension of one approaching.
The sea boils and becomes angry, the waves crash against the shore as if in a tantrum. Lashing out in Spite against the shore as if it's been insulted and wants to punish the coastline for a slight that remains unknown to us.
The sky has an almost menacing beauty giving us a mere hint at the power it could unleash if it so wished, rumbling and growling and dark. Releasing a deluge of rain and wind as if to hammer home the point that it is not happy at all.
To watch and take a deep breath, feel the wind and the spray of the waves, hear the thundering skies. It's invigorating, exciting, viceral. You feel small and insignificant and almost understand for a brief moment your place in the universe, a speck, a nothing, powerless, fragile.
And yet you have to admire it all and respect it for it's power and beauty. Know that you have no influence over it. Bow before its power and majesty.

Photos look like they where added with a green color or something. It is beautiful but it also looks like it is dangerous. Be safe out there.
i just worry about our boats when its like this. When the mooring lines snap it can be really bad. They've had a few boats here over the years break loose of the mooring and wreck on the shore. Calmed down pretty quickly once the storm passed though thankfully
