Yes, preparing for Zassets, even Vitalik is contributing to the Zassets to make sure there is a good bridge for ethereum users.
I don't know specifics yet, the ECC will give us a 4 month warning before any developer changes are made public or live on the chain. In about 3 months or so I expect the first Zassets examples to roll out.
