FEB Unimal and FEP Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Hold a Commercial Colloquium
UNIMAL | Lhokseumawe – The Faculty of Economics and Management of the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (FEP-UKM) together with the Faculty of Economics and Business of the Malikussaleh University held a Colloquium on Pre-Student Research on Commerce and Management (Koppep@Ukm) or an international colloquium.
The colloquium or expertise meeting entitled "Economic and Management Undergraduate Research Colloquium (URECO@UKM) will take place on January 10-14, 2022. The theme raised is "Contemporary Issues in Economics and Management in a Pandemic Era".
The Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Malikussaleh University, Dr Hendra Raza, said that this colloquium aims to promote various research findings of undergraduate (S1) students. The goal is that the findings from the colloquium can improve the quality of FEP-UKM and FEB-UNIMAL students' papers.
In addition, colloquiums can provide benefits or contributions to assist faculties in achieving key performance indicators (KPI) or key performance indicators (KPI) between the two faculties in the two universities.
The chairman of the Center of Global Business and Digital Economy (GloBDE)@UKM, Prof Madya Dr Ruzita Abdul Rahim, said that this colloquium was a collaborative program between Universitas Kebangsaan Malaysia and Malikussaleh University which had previously tied the MoA in the research program.
"The two faculties have also participated in various programs from digital economic forums, workshop programs and joint publications," said Ruzita. According to him, this colloquium will be held every year and is expected to improve the quality of the papers that will be published in the colloquium proceedings registered in the Malaysian Library.
Dean of the Faculty of Economics and SME Management, Prof. Dr. Aini Aman, hopes that both parties can strengthen this colloquium program and not only for undergraduate students, but can be continued for postgraduate programs. He also hopes to carry out various other collaborative programs in the future such as student exchanges, summer programs to study together in UKM for three weeks. "The cooperation is still open in the form of a new program that is strengthened by the MOU and MOA," he said.
Dean of FEB Malikussaleh University, Dr. Hendra Raza, welcomed this colloquium program and various other collaborative programs between FEP-UKM and FEB Malikussaleh University. On the other hand, Malikussaleh University FEB still needs cooperation with FEP-UKM to get guidance in an effort to internationalize study programs within the Malikussaleh University FEB environment.
Dr. Darmawati who was appointed as the Coordinator Chair of KoPPEP@UKM said that this colloquium was very useful for students who could provide added value as presenters of their scientific works and would then get other added value because the article would be published in the proceedings of KoPPEP@UKM with an ISBN.
Darmawati detailed, the number of student papers participating in the colloquium was 18 papers consisting of 10 papers from the Management Study Program, 3 papers from the Management Science Postgraduate Program (PMIM), 1 paper from the Development Economics Study Program, and 4 papers from the Accounting Study Program.
"Everything has been presented on January 10 and 11, 2022. The paper will be published in mid-March 2022," said Darmawati. []
FEB Univesitas Malikussaleh dan FEP Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Gelar Kolokium Perniagaan
Fakulti Ekonomi dan Pengurusan Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (FEP-UKM) bersama Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Malikussaleh melaksanakan Kolokium Penyelidikan Prasiswazah Perniagaan dan Pengurusan (Koppep@Ukm) atau kolokium antarbangsa.
Kolokium atau pertemuan keahlian bertajuk “Economic and Management Undergraduate Research Colloquium (URECO@UKM) tersebut berlangsung pada 10-14 Januari 2022. Tema yang diangkat tentang “Isu Kontemporari dalam Ekonomi dan Pengurusan dalam Era Pandemi”.
Dekan Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Malikussaleh, Dr Hendra Raza, menyebutkan kolokium ini bertujuan untuk mempromosikan berbagai temuan hasil penelitian mahasiswa undergraduate (S1). Tujuannya, hasil temuan dari kolokium dapat meningkatkan kualitas paper mahasiswa FEP-UKM dan FEB-UNIMAL.
Selain itu, kolokium dapat memberi manfaat atau kontribusi untuk membantu fakultas dalam mencapai key performance indicator (KPI) atau indikator kinerja utama (IKU) di antara kedua fakultas di kedua perguruan tinggi tersebut.
Ketua Centre of Global Business and Digital Economy (GloBDE)@UKM, Prof Madya Dr Ruzita Abdul Rahim, menyampaikan bahwa kolokium ini merupakan program kerja sama antara Universitas Kebangsaan Malaysia dengan Universitas Malikussaleh yang sebelum ini telah mengikat MoA dalam program penelitian.
“Kedua fakulti juga telah mengikuti berbagai program dari forum digital ekonomi, program workshop dan publikasi bersama,” ujar Ruzita. Menurutnya, kolokium ini akan dilaksanakan setiap tahun dan diharapkan dapat memperbaiki kualitas paper yang akan di publikasi dalam prosiding kolokium yang terdaftar di Perpustakaan Malaysia.
Dekan Fakulti Ekonomi dan Pengurusan UKM, Prof. Dr. Aini Aman, berharap kedua belah pihak dapat memperkukuh program kolokium ini dan tidak hanya untuk mahasiswa S1, namun dapat dilanjutkan untuk program pascasarjana. Ia juga berharap dapat melaksanakan berbagai program kerja sama lainnya di masa mendatang seperti pertukaran pelajar, summer program untuk belajar bersama-sama di UKM selama tiga minggu. “Masih terbuka kerja sama dalam bentuk program baru yang diperkuat dengan MOU dan MOA,” ujarnya.
Dekan FEB Universitas Malikussaleh, Dr. Hendra Raza, menyambut baik program kolokium ini dan berbagai program kerja sama lainnya antara FEP-UKM dan FEB Universitas Malikussaleh. Di sisi lain, FEB Universitas Malikussaleh masih membutuhkan kerja sama dengan FEP-UKM untuk mendapatkan pembinaan dalam upaya menginternasionalkan program studi di lingkungan FEB Universitas Malikussaleh.
Dr. Darmawati yang ditunjuk sebagai Ketua Koordinator KoPPEP@UKM menyampaikan bahwa kolokium ini sangat bermanfaat bagi mahasiswa yang dapat memberikan nilai tambah sebagai presenter dari karya ilmiahnya dan selanjutnya akan mendapatkan nilai tambah lainnya karena artikel tersebut akan dipublikasi di prosiding KoPPEP@UKM ber-ISBN.
Darmawati merincikan, jumlah paper mahasiswa yang ikut dalam kolokium tersebut sebanyak 18 paper yang terdiri dari 10 paper dari Prodi Manajemen, 3 paper dari Program Pascasarjana Ilmu Manajemen (PMIM), 1 paper dari Prodi Ekonomi Pembangunan, dan 4 paper dari Prodi Akuntansi.
“Semuanya telah dipresentasikan pada 10 dan 11 Januari 2022. Paper tersebut akan dipublikasikan pada pertengahan Maret 2022,” ucap Darmawati. []
