Hello to all hive users 🤗❤️🙏
Hope you all are healthy and doing great in your life🙂
There was a time when books were considered a true friend because they provided guidance and, like a friend, a helping hand. People gained knowledge by reading books, and through this knowledge, they learned about many things and their knowledge increased. I still remember when I was in grades three or four. The library in our town used to be extremely crowded. People would always be there. Many people would also visit the bookstore to buy books, and it would always be crowded there. Now, as technology advanced, people began spending more time on screens, and hardly anyone had time for books. I'm amazed when I see that younger schoolchildren, who need to read books the most, are studying through screens. They spend a lot of time on screens, whereas they should be spending time on books instead of screens. True knowledge comes from books. No matter how advanced you become on screens, there are always distractions. The most important thing is that when you read books, you have to think. Repeatedly reviewing things opens up new concepts and gives you a better understanding of them. Some time ago, I had a relative who was over 80 years old. He's now deceased, but when he was alive, he had a great passion for reading. He used to tell me that he never had the opportunity to read books as a child. She used to tell me that when she was more than 70 years old, she slowly learned to read and she started knowing the letters, then she slowly started reading sentences and after that when she got the hang of reading, then she started reading any book. She used to read even those books which were in our school syllabus, she was only interested in reading, she did not care about what else she was reading or why she was reading. I got to learn a lot from her passion that if a person is dedicated, then he can read so much, there is no age limit for this.

To be honest, I'm also spending a lot of screen time right now. But whenever I feel like I've had too much screen time, I put my phone aside, grab a book, and start reading a page. It's a little strange, but it helps prevent screen time and reduces distractions. Sometimes, when I can't sleep or for some other reason, I'll grab a book and start reading a few pages, and that's when I start to fall asleep. I'm a big fan of reading, but our lifestyles have become so complex that I don't find time for it. I try to keep reading, as it's crucial to limit screen time. It's essential to use a book to help your eyes relax and give your mother peace of mind. I have been thinking for a long time that I should read a book for at least 20 to 30 minutes every evening before going to sleep so that my eyes get some rest and my screen time also reduces. In a way, we have completely forgotten how to read books and books are very important for us. Today, because of technology, we can read hundreds of books through our mobile phones in our pockets, but the feeling of real physical books is different, which gives a different feeling and experience. Especially the old books have a different fragrance on their pages, which attracts you in a way.
Thanks for reading my post till the end.

I agree with you. Our lifestyle as adults have become too complex for us to have the same amount of time now that we used to have before as children and it is the reason why we pay the most attention to our phones.
