Hello to all hive users 🤗❤️🙏
Hope you all are healthy and doing great in your life🙂
Nowadays, social media is a tool that allows you to do a variety of things. There was a time when people used social media to chat with each other or share photos, but today's updated social media offers a wide range of features. Today, you can share videos, live stream, and do many other things on social media. Any news that breaks quickly spreads on social media, and news channels later broadcast it. Social media has many advantages. While social media has its advantages, it also has many disadvantages. Some social media platforms have become extremely popular today. Many platforms offer various features along with social media, but sometimes these features also have some adverse effects. You must have noticed that since social media has become so popular, we have started making friends with people from other countries as well, and in a way, it connects people from different countries. This would be its advantage, but now, as the topic asks, would you like to ban any social media platform forever? Now, this question is quite difficult because there are many platforms that should be banned, but there are some advantages of these platforms as well. Now, if I were to name one application in this, it would be TikTok.

Now, there are many reasons why I'm mentioning TikTok, and I'll share them all with you as to why I chose to ban this application. You may have noticed that the trend of short videos has grown significantly these days, and many people have become addicted to scrolling through these short videos, which is quite bad. You may have noticed that TikTok was the originator of these short videos, and over time, people began to turn to content creation and began creating similar short videos and uploading them to TikTok. These short videos took less time to create, and people liked them a lot, which is why people became more addicted to it. When you watch short videos, dopamine is released in your brain every once in a while and you do not realize it, but you scroll through so many short videos in 1 hour that your brain gets used to releasing dopamine every now and then and even if you stop watching these videos, your brain will still get addicted to it and then you will keep on feeling like watching these videos every once in a while and you get trapped in its addiction even if you do not want to.
If you watch short videos, then you must have noticed one thing that since the trend of these videos has increased, people are not able to concentrate on long videos and they start getting addicted to watching videos every now and then and then the ability of these people to concentrate also reduces a lot and in such a situation, this harm is most for small children because they are not able to concentrate on their studies and become victims of the addiction of these short videos.
You watch a short video, and it often contains something that entertains you or provides tips to improve your knowledge. If you keep watching these videos every now and then, seeing new things one after the other, your brain can't process them properly and becomes extremely confused. This reduces your ability to remember, and you develop a habit of forgetting.
