We can not just receive from God without given back to him. And one way I know we can give back to God in gratitude is by donating to the church, helping the poor and needy in the society and feeding the hungry. For me I see this as mandatory for me and my family. We do it anytime we have the opportunity to do.
Even though I believe in given out to the poor and donating to the house of God. I do mine in a different way. Sometimes when we donate to the church it might be used for church building or any other repair in the church. But I still think that most times the poor in the church are not remembered. Last week at our church service when there was a call for people to give freely to the church project. Someone said to me that the ministers in the church don't even know that some people are very hungry right there in the church and don't even have food to eat when they get back home after the church service. That person said that there hardly is any Sunday that we don't give for one project or the other. But no one cares about what people are going through in their respective homes. I actually saw truth in what she was saying or what she said, but we can't also stop giving our donations to the church because of that.
MY OWN WAY OF AFFECTING PEOPLE POSITIVELY THROUGH MY FINANCE.

It is in my plan that every year I will gather the less privileged and widows to donate into their lives. I started it Three years ago and it has really lifted some widows and less privileged from their lack to abundance especially for that moment. I try my best to gather enough food for them, clothes from different sources and sometimes the Holy bible.
We had the first one earlier this year and we intend to gather them again before the year runs out.
TO ENSURE THAT MY MONEY GET TO THE RIGHT PERSON
I give it to them by myself. I have done this a several times and I even used it to make post here sometimes. This is what I love doing and I can't afford to give it to someone who will pocket it and allow the windows to go hungry with their children. I love meeting them one on one and speaking to them before given them. It has also helped me to create a bound with Those women and that alone makes me fulfilled. We have those greedy ones every where now especially in the house of God bearing men of God and just looking for how to fill their pockets with what will be used to take care of the poor and needy in the society.
This is my response to the hive learners community content for week 191: episode 2. A LITTLE CHARITY
We will always find greedy people everywhere and that shouldn’t stop us from doing the good we can. Yes, I agree some churches do raise money every time for projects, but the truth is that, we can’t do everything, especially if we aren’t led to do it. We can also help the needy around us and the ones we can do ourselves, we do.
