We are indeed lost in this our generation into our phones. I don't really what it will look like if we are asked to come to dinner without phone because right there while we eat some are busy taking pictures.

It would be hard to ask some of us to come to the dining table without our phones. Kids would sure grumble. But it is necessary to implement that sometimes anyway.
