Money is one thing that doesn't need people but humans need it, mourning every step that doesn't lead to getting the Money the need to actualize their vision in life.
In this era that we are, money has become what most people idolize and would do anything whatsoever to get it. Either it's palatable or not or not even worthy to be seen with one's personality but for the sake of the money that would come from it, we turn a blind eye to the errors.
Back in the days when the previous generation works so hard to make ends meet with their palms and ten fingers, walking hand in hand to put food on their table and make ends meet. Sweats strolling down their cheeks from the strands of their hairs and every bit of their worries buried as long as they have hope of harvesting their farmlands or getting paid from their labour power jobs or white collar jobs.
With time, as technology would have it and make life easy, creativity began to have it's place on our social media platforms, businesses growing due to their marketable contents strategies and comedians having their ways as well reaching a wide network with their contents of which most of these creators accounts get to become monetized accounts, making them to earn right from the comfort of their home without saying yes sir yes ma for anyone.
Little did we know that this was going to be hijacked and messed up by the die-hard fan money seekers.
Right now, content creation is no longer looking nice as there is even no value for originality anymore and even some originalities you tend to see are lack of sense contents just to get some attentions, followed by people and getting a monetized accounts.
You would see a woman old enough to be someone's wife and some children's mother and some grand children's grandma, shaking buttocks in front of the camera because that will attract people for comments, likes and followers. Likewise we have countless number of youths especially ladies dancing or creating naked body contents all because of what? Money! Monetizing their account cos that of which they are doing would give them the audience.
Aside from the naked and nudity's club content creators, you would see some creators pulling some dirty pranks that at times, they no longer get funny because the reaction of the audience they pulled the prank on would actually make you think if what they've done is really worth it.
I watched one where the guy pulled a prank about being a ritualist and seeing women he wanna kill and bring their parts already and in the process of these women running for their lives, there was this old woman staggering but attempting to run cos even though she's aged woman, I guess she still doesn't wanna go through being used for a ritual which is thoughtful. At that point, seeing the aged woman with that effort, I cried and became annoyed at the creator of such content cos he should have at least shadowed and surveyed his audience to know if he should proceed or move to another territory.
Unfortunately, most of them do not think this way as they would do anything as long as their accounts are getting numerous like, comments, follows and more earnings keep coming from their contents.
Now that we have seen the fastest way of making money, so an average youth out there is fighting hard to be seen in the content creation space on social media, leaving aside dreams, visions or even their main source of income. What if our source of laziness goes off someday then what shall we fall back into?
Every problem has a solution as long as it is identified and that is why this contentless contents on the social media for monetization can be reduced to its minimal rate if the platforms can place strict and effective guidelines or rules surrounding type of contents to be posted for monetization which I'm sure creators will follow and this will bring reduction in the number of creators coming online all in the name of standing before the camera to capture anything and post and they earn big money where a good content is been created but with no monetization because he or she isn't doing.
Real Value should be placed on contents monetization and not just about followers likes and comments..
