It seems that in general it will be automatic if we do good to other people, it is likely that other people will also be kind to us, although in some cases that person may still be unkind to us. Everyone in this world when we do good will want to get what they deserve, we definitely want when we do good things they return good things too. But the reality in the world sometimes does not match expectations. Sometimes it makes us disappointed and makes us want to stop doing good, we become lazy to do good because we think people will only accept our kindness and forget about it.

As it is said, a good deed is its own reward. When we help out people, we are not meant to expect them to repay us. That takes away the goodwill we used to commit the deed.
