Well historically I will personally say from research made, that music has been before the creation of man this is because the world has been believed to have a spiritual presence which man is subject to worship.
That is the Almighty God. Religious books has it that our creator is a lover of music. that means music has not just a physical presence but also a spiritual presence.
Historically looking at where music began from in the human race I will give you with fact that music began from Africa
African is well known for her historical representation in culture and tradition since the beginning of her existence. This cultural and traditional representation seen in different ethic groups are all centred around music

I love it man, great read! I love music and play a few instruments. I also really like seeing music through the lense of sacred geometry. It is indeed prehuman, as it is harmonious with the mathematics of the universe, the very core building blocks of our reality. Music is something that exists beyond mere human understanding, like you said, its something we can tap into, when we connect with our spiritual self.
There's no one here who will say he/she doesn't like the sound of a music especially a good one at that.
Music cheers me up when I'm sad and I can dance to it anyway anytime, I can never be ashamed of dancing outside when I like the music playing at that moment.
