On this great opportunity, I would like to finish learning stage 02 in this wonderful community, hive Learners.
The topics that I will discuss about the 02 learning stages are as follows.
•How much do you know about Hive security locks?
There are 4 hive security keys in all, namely Master key, Active key, Post key and Memo Key.
•Do you have enough idea about the importance of these keys?
All hive keys are very important and have their respective roles, the so-called key is of course important and the key is one of security, both at home which is called a house key and wherever it has its own key as security,The importance of these four keys is as follows:
1.Master key : The most powerful key on the hive blockchain,this master key is very important and has a big role including changing other keys in addition to permissions that can recover accounts from postings and other activities, this key is very important, my suggestion is that this key should be really kept safe and kept secret from anyone, if someone else can take it and find out or this key is lost, it will make us lose all our assets in the account.
2.Active key : The second most powerful key on the hive blockchain,these keys are those which have additional permissions which are very sensitive as moniter used for actions related to wallet proceeds which function as coin transfer, HBD/HIVE exchange in the market (HBD conversion to HIVE or vice versa), Power Up Hive-,Power Down and even This key can share the gift of coins among other friends who are always asked to enter with an active key, this key must be properly guarded and do not give it to anyone or don't give it to the wrong person if you don't want to lose all wallet assets and wallet completely completely safe from theft.
3.Posting key : This is the most common key in the hive blockchain,this a key commonly used as a Hive Blockchain social network that functions as posts, upvote-downvotes, comments, reblogs, follow, unfollow fellow users, edit posts if an error occurs in the post and Mute the account. This key has limited permission, if any of your friends know this key, know that it won't lose any money/assets in the wallet, though still don't publish and don't give it to anyone we don't trust keep it safe.
4.Memo Key : This is a key that is rarely used because it is not very important, I myself have never used this key, because this key only serves to send encrypted messages, view encrypted messages / private messages sent via hive, maybe in the future it will become a strong feature so that the key it should also be saved when needed so that it is very easy to remember when you want to view the decryption message.
•Do you know how to locate security keys of Hive?
•What are the functions/permissions of each keys and explain them?
Here are my steps in doing to find the hive key, if you want to find it, then all of you can follow the steps like I did and I will also explain the function/permission of each button.
The first thing I do after logging into hive is go to wallet,then click Lock and permission after that I will find all my hive keys along with the access each key has, here is a screenshot I did so we can study together.
The first step I did was to enter the swallow after entering the swallow click on lock and permission.
Click on “Reveal” and you will see your Keys. Below the “Reveal” Button is the Permission each keys has.
•What measures have you taken to keep your keys safe?
I store these passwords in the safest place in some of the most secure vaults that I believe will never be lost in my opinion, such as on the gmail drive and in several other places such as on phone records.
