The Rise of Self-Driving Cars: Benefits, Challenges, and the Future of Transportation

in Hive Learners2 days ago

Well, everyone or I should say most of the people are fond of driving a car, some people are fond of riding a bike and some people are fond of driving a car. If you are living in the city since childhood, then you get the chance to ride a bicycle and by the time you grow up, you learn to drive almost all types of two wheelers like scooty bike, but it takes some time to drive a four wheeler because perhaps not everyone gets the chance to drive a four wheeler in childhood, but some people are very lucky that they get a chance to drive everything since childhood and this is a very good thing. Because nowadays the time has come that we all should know how to do everything, almost everything, yes, whether it is from small household work to any big work outside, you need to be skilled, if you are not a person for this, then it can prove to be very difficult for you, but perhaps there is no need to panic so much because nowadays everything has become ad driven and everything has become automatic as we all are seeing.

Earlier, very few things used to be automated, but now most of the things around us have become automated, whether it is a coffee machine or a food making machine, you just have to enter the recipe and ingredients, everything will be ready for you. If I talk about cars, then many cars already have many automatic features, but now many cars have become fully automated and you don't even need to drive for them. If you have ever used a Tesla car, then you will know how the car is, yes, it will be very easy in big cities or I should say in developed countries, but in developing countries or rural areas, the trend of self-driving cars is a bit difficult because things are not as organized here as they are in big cities or developed countries.

Everything can be automated in developed areas and in such a case it becomes easier for an automatic car to run automatically but if you are living in a rural area then the roads there are not so good and in such a case driving a self-driving car becomes a bit difficult. There is no connectivity in many places. Yes, today with the help of satellite connectivity can be provided everywhere but still there can be many things which may make it difficult for a self-driven car to run in hilly areas. I think that if all the work becomes automated then the accidents can be reduced to some extent because there will be many sensors in them and other vehicles will also have sensors but in such a case driving cars will also become easier and I think that if this happens then it may create even more dangers because the thing which can be used for good work can also be used for bad work. It all depends on what purpose you are using it for. This was just my point of view regarding self-driven cars.

See, if the trend of self-driving cars comes completely, then perhaps the accidents may reduce but as I said, there can be dangers in it as well. If everything is online, then it becomes easy to hack them as we see that many things get hacked online and this can also happen because petrol is just a programming. By the way, if an accident happens with a self-defense card, then first we will give the plan to the company itself because there is no fault of the owner in this because it is a self-preventive car, so the company which is running the software according to them, if it malfunctions or there is any problem, then it will be the fault of the company and the company itself should compensate completely. I think that if we put the blame on the owner, then it is wrong because when it is a self-driving car, then perhaps there should be no fault of the owner, yes, if he has not tampered with it, if there is no fault from the owner's side, then the company itself will be completely responsible for the accident and it should compensate completely.

Yes, gradually a lot of smart things are being checked in the cars and gradually it will become fully automatic and we will not even feel this and we will also get used to it but it will take some time for all this to happen. I think that by 2050 a lot of things will change around us if we all remain alive till that time because the way a lot of geo-political things are going on there is a very scary atmosphere, we can only hope that everything remains good and the coming future brings a happy life for all of us, let's see what happens next.

A lot of skills on how to drive is truly and really important if we want to ride any kinds of vehicles. Even bikes especially those childhood drivers. A safety is also primary concern. 😊

You brought up many good points regarding self-driving cars and their potential consequences. Even though they've been tested, I still doubt that people will fully embrace the self-driving features of a Tesla or similar alternatives.

I've seen plenty of Teslas here in Singapore, but I have yet to see one driving on the road without a person behind the wheel, lol.

That said, I'm still optimistic about the future of self-driving cars. I hope to be alive and healthy when that time comes because I'd love to experience it myself. I currently drive a car with automatic transmission, but I've never driven a manual, and honestly, I don't see myself trying one, lol.

If we introduce automatic car driving right now in our country, then I am sure there will be a lot of accidents. Moreover, in the case of Google Maps, I don't think it provided us with real data as it is related to the security issue of a country. Google Maps is a modified map and it's not suitable in every case while driving.
