Life has advanced in a very big way for humans. We’ve gotten better at healthcare, transportation, childbirth, and what have you… We’ve also gotten better at protecting ourselves and those that matter to us. Many of us, even as kids, know basic security measures to take that will protect us. We know how to lock our doors and how to install safety equipment to protect us.
We always go all out when it comes to the things we do, that’s just because of how far we’ve come as a species. There’s, of course, a long way still for us to go. But sadly, it may seem like, despite how far we’ve come, our basic human nature seems to be the very thing that keeps holding us down and preventing our growth.
Despite the technological advancement we enjoy, humans are still evil and will still utilize whatever opportunity they have to hurt their fellows. Despite how we’re all educated and we know better, many still prefer to wage wars rather than consider the possibility of peace and communal prosperity. We’re still subject to our emotions like greed, lust, and obsession. And even worse, our systems are still victims of corruption and what have you…
It’s bad, yeah! But then, what can we do? It seems like no matter how good things get, people always find ways to make everything worse. Every time, they let their personal needs and wants derail the progress of the entire community. That’s selfishness at its peak.
In a village, the government may decide to provide facilities for a steady power supply, but only weeks later, everything would be vandalized and stolen! And the village would be sent back to the dark age. Simply because of the greed of a few people. But then, this is something that touches just about every sphere of life and every industry known to man. We’ve seen people steal covers from manholes in the middle of the road, putting pedestrians in danger of falling through them. We’ve seen people steal bulbs from street lights and armor cables. Even schools get vandalized, and anything that even looks to be remotely of value would be taken.
But is this only on the lowest rung of the ladder? No, because issues like this rear their ugly head even in places of office. People get the money to make positive changes to their communities, but they refuse to do it. They instead pocket the money for themselves and leave their people to suffer. This is how bad it has been. And that’s why today, the world has the resources and everything it needs to be better and peaceful. Yet, for some reason, it’s still just as chaotic and violent as ever before.
This is because humans are still slaves to their most basic emotions. That need to dominate, the need to be the most powerful, and to have everything, even if it means hurting others. We’re still slaves to these feelings, and as a result, no matter how far we’ve come, we’re still basically in the same place. And that’s something I’ve never been able to fully grasp.

The greediness of human bringing the consequences and such a thing is very harmful for us. I know that very few are making the mistakes but everyone need to face the consequences and that's why law should be imposed strictly to eliminate those few evil people.
